§ 270.105. Application for an affiliated driver's license.

  • An applicant for an affiliated driver's license must:

    1.

    Possess a valid chauffeur's license from either the State of New York or the applicant's state of residence.

    2.

    Submit three recent photographs of the applicant in a size to be determined by the commission, one of which shall be attached to the temporary affiliated driver's license, one of which shall be attached to the affiliated driver's license and one to be filed with the application in the office of the commission.

    3.

    Be fingerprinted for the purpose of securing criminal history records from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services and must pay the processing fee for such service. Such fingerprints and processing fee are to be forwarded to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. Upon renewal of an affiliated driver's license, the applicant must submit an affidavit to the commission attesting to any violations or crimes that such applicant has been convicted of subsequent to the date of fingerprinting. The Chairperson of the commission shall review the records received from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Service in a manner consistent with Article 23-A of the New York State Correction Law and shall report to the commission, as necessary.

    4.

    Agree that service of any paper, notice, letter, summons, complaint or legal process of any kind relating to his or her license or permit may be made by the commission, the County of Westchester, or any department thereof, by leaving a copy with any person located at the address designated in his or her application.
