§ 265.131. Certain instruments not affected.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the indexing of general assignments, wills, powers of attorney or satisfactions of mortgages, but such instruments shall be filed or recorded as now required by law and when recorded they may be indexed in a separate alphabetical index or indexes.
