Continuation of rules, regulations and ordinances of the Department of Public Works
and Transportation in effect at the adoption of this act and affecting matters the
jurisdiction and administration of which are transferred by this act to the Department
of Environmental Facilities shall continue in full force and effect as if originally
adopted by said Department of Environmental Facilities. Section 116 of Chapter 617 of the Laws of 1937
, known as the Westchester County Charter, shall be deemed applicable to this act.
