§ 237.241. Payments by towns and cities within districts.

The total amount of assessments for any such district apportioned to the town and cities within such district shall be paid by such towns and cities to the Commissioner of Finance at the same times and manner as the state and county tax is paid to him by such towns and cities. After such payments are made to the Commissioner of Finance, all such assessments collected by any such town or city within any such district for such year shall belong to such town or city and be collected by it for its own account.
