§ 237.01. Powers and obligations of Commissioner of Environmental Facilities.

    The Commissioner of Environmental Facilities shall have all the powers and duties and shall be subject to all the obligations and liabilities heretofore or hereafter lawfully granted or imposed by the County Charter, or by local law, act or resolution of the County Board, or by any provision of any act of the legislature.

    2.

    The Commissioner of Environmental Facilities, in addition to the powers and duties set forth hereinabove, shall manage, supervise and control the Division of Solid Waste Management, as set forth pursuant to section 463.11 of the Laws of Westchester County, in and for the County of Westchester.
