§ 176.21. Youth Bureau Executive Director.

The County Executive shall appoint a paid full-time Executive Director of the Youth Bureau, subject to confirmation by the Board of Legislators, who shall be a person qualified by, at minimum, an earned graduate degree in human services or a related field and five years of experience in youth services or a related field, or the equivalent training and experience, to administer and supervise the Youth Bureau in the discharge of the powers and duties granted thereto. It shall be the duty of the Executive Director to direct and administer the Youth Bureau and to faithfully carry out and enforce all provisions of state and local law applicable to his or her position and also all valid requirements of the County Executive and the Westchester County Youth Board.
