§ 164.91. Offices abolished and powers and duties transferred.

  • Except as otherwise provided by this act, the offices of County Register, County Comptroller and County Treasurer and all other offices or positions in the county service, the duties or functions of which are transferred by this act or by any local law authorized thereunder, are abolished as of the date when this act or the local law takes effect in the county and all of the powers conferred or duties imposed by law on them shall thereafter be exercised and performed in accordance with the provisions of this act or of any local law authorized thereunder.
